Who we are
Theresa Ancell is the owner of Ancell Environmental Consulting Services, LLC based in Durango Colorado with 20 years of experience in biological and environmental resource management. During her professional career, she has used her skills as a biologist, writer, project manager, and public meeting facilitator to tackle complex projects. She brings with her a local understanding of current issues faced by regulatory agencies in planning and permitting undertakings. She was born and raised in the Four-Corners, and grew up farming and ranching, and has the work ethic that goes along with the lifestyle. She has dedicated her career to assisting companies alongside local and federal agencies in navigating the complexities of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Endangered Species Act (ESA) Section 7 consultation, and Section 106 consultation.
